about
We are here to tell you a story about love.
Ella and I, like all of you, have been stuck in, suffering through, finding ways to cope with, finding ways to enjoy, this pandemic. And it sucks. Like everyone, we are trying to find some sense, some rhythm, some happiness in our crazy situation, and some days we succeed. The one thing that drags us through this muck is the love we share in our family.
Luckily for Ella and I, we have all that we need in the house to make music. Unlike our previous work together, this time, we decided to tell our own story. Our story of love, of unease, of worry, of working to find a way back to hopefulness. I started this song with a few lines, and asked Ella what she thought; if she’d like to sing it with me. As usual, when working with a poet like Ella, the words came easily. The music came easily.
We hope that you enjoy this, and that you take from it what we can offer: our hopes for a bright future, and what reassurance we can give. We love you!
Now here it is, our first single we called Okay, from our album, Pause.
